Pair of large sized original oil paintings on board depicting majestic red deer stags standing in changing seasonal environments, created "after" the designs of Emilie Vouga (Swiss, 1840–1909), a renowned artist famous for her botanical and wildlife illustrations; signed by the artist ‘Evelyn’, and dated 1919. Beautifully presented in deep, wide-profile Edwardian mahogany or oak frames with a gold gilt inner liner accentuating the vertical composition. Excellent antique condition, ready to hang.
