A beautifully executed piece, initialed by an unknown artist, possible a Tasmanian traveler or artist from the period. Notes on the artwork, made by the original picture framer, reference the town of Evandale in Tasmania, and “Miss Hawley”, a prominent family name from the area. Framed with solid gilt wood and custom mount behind glass.
