James Duncan (1804–1861), Beetle Specimens (Plate VIII), 1852, an original hand-coloured engraved plate from The Natural History of Beetles, engraved by W. H. Lizars and depicting six species including Elater melanocephalus and Malachius marginellus, presented behind glass in an ornate vintage frame.
