Rare genuine 1950s vintage Picasso poster, printed by renowned atelier Fernand Mourlot, Paris. Beautiful vintage paper with appealing patina and minor signs of age.
During the 1940s and 1950s, Picasso created various poster designs in collaboration with Mourlot’s studio, this one for the City of Nice Youth Rally.
-The original posters printed in 1950 were limited to 500 copies and were 76cm x 53cm.
-They were later reproduced by Mourlot in 1959 measuring 30cm x 24cm
-This particular poster measures 57cm x 39cm, so the exact date and edition is unclear, however it has obvious age is a genuine vintage lithograph from the 1950s.
