Go Yayanagi (1933-2025) was a Japanese contemporary artist and printmaker known for his vivid colors and bold black outlines. Born in Hokkaido in 1933, he incorporates experiences from his time in Brazil, Africa, and Paris into his work. Blending elements of traditional ukiyo-e with pop art, he developed a unique style In addition to paintings and prints, he has created mosaics, stained glass works, and other large-scale public art, and has been active internationally throughout his career.
