Original Mid Century watercolour painting, landscape, cottage, framed vintage artwork

Unknown artist, Untitled (Riverbank), late 20th century, original watercolour on paper, depicting a quiet rural riverside landscape with cottage, mature trees and distant hills, presented under glass with a wide cream mount in a gilt-edged timber frame. The painting is handled with confident, fluid washes and lively touches of opaque colour, balancing the strong, twisting foreground tree against the softly receding cottage, water and blue-grey hills to create an intimate and atmospheric landscape.
