This beautiful painting dated 2014 depicts Michelle's 'Women's Ceremony' Dreaming. It illustrates the stories of the women throughout Michelle's country in the Northern Territory over many generations, and the colours and designs painted onto their bodies during ceremonies. It was handed down to Michelle by her ancestors, and is painted exclusively by her and sister Gabriella. Professionally stretched and accompanied with original authenticity certificate.

Michelle Possum Nungarrayi (1970-) Born in Mt Allan, Michelle Possum is the daughter of Emily Nakamarra Possum, a Luritja woman, and Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, a foundational figure in the contemporary indigenous art movement. Michelle depicts stories such as Women Ceremonies, Grandmother's Country and Bush Tucker and is celebrated for her profound connection to her homelands and her captivating portrayal of Women’s Dreaming stories. She is well known across Australia and is widely collected and represented throughout the world.
