Harold Septimus Power (1877–1951) was a prominent New Zealand-born Australian artist highly celebrated for his masterful depictions of animals and dynamic battle scenes. Appointed as an Official War Artist during World War I, his energetic, bold brushwork and exceptional understanding of equine anatomy left an enduring legacy in Australian art history.
